Kenneth J. Brown

Pawtucket - Kenneth J. Brown, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Sandra E. (Blue) Brown. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Ralph and Mary (Smith) Brown. He enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Ken also gave the generous gift of life through organ donation at the New England Organ Bank. He leaves his four children, Michael E. Brown of East Providence, Karen A. Walker of North Providence, Ken R. Brown of Pawtucket and Susan M. Gonya of Auburn, MA; two brothers Frank Brown of Lincoln and Dennis Brown of East Providence; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ralph, Bobby and Charlie Brown, Gladys Reichenbach and Mary Froment. His funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Moshassuck Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, 146 Clifford St., Providence, RI 02903 will be appreciated. www.TrippFuneralHome.com
